With a background in civil engineering, interest in learning languages, and solid experience in the construction industry, Leo always strives for excellence. Leo has acquired invaluable construction knowledge working on a multitude of project types and sizes, as well as acting as a Project Engineer, Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Director, and Owner’s Representative. In addition, Leo’s mark in the Bay Area ranges as far north as San Francisco/Oakland, and as far south as Santa Cruz/Monterey. Currently a board member at his kids’ high school PTSA, an assistant women’s soccer coach, and former volunteer firefighter/EMT, Leo takes the time to participate in volunteering activities, mentor the younger generations and be an active member of his community.
Leo is the Founder and active Principal for RENOVA, and ensures that our Core Values are part of every project RENOVA takes on.
Project Management Consultant
Prior to collaborating with RENOVA, Michelle has been the Market Lead for Cushman & Wakefield’s (C&W) Sacramento office where she managed multiple large construction projects for KBS Properties and Westcore Properties in Northern California. Before joining C&W, Michelle worked as a consultant for 10 years for private investment firms who held assets in Northern California.
Michelle is currently a Principal for Bradley Price Management Group and an active collaborator to RENOVA as the need arises for her project management expertise.
Constructability & Commissioning Consultant
Born in San Jose, CA, James started his career in the Bay Area residential market. Later he moved to Sonoma County to assist with the construction of winery buildings, high-end residential projects and real estate renovation. He then spent time in Hawaii and Southern California working for the US military on projects including new and renovated barracks, underground utility upgrades, high security construction, highly sensitive intelligence facilities, etc.
In the late 90’s and back to the Bay Area, James entered the high-tech niche of the construction industry and became proficient at seismic retrofit projects, challenging infrastructure projects, fast-track and demanding ground-up commercial buildings, OSHPD and medical office projects.
James strong MEP/HVAC/Controls background helped him become an acknowledged expert in the development and management of Start-up and Commissioning plans, Safety Programs, Infectious Disease Control Programs and SWPPP.
James’ constructability and commissioning expertise is an incredible asset to RENOVA’s team of consultants.
Electrical Engineering, Design & Construction Consultant
MG Associates, LLC (MGA) provided on-site electrical engineering, design, construction and material procurement services to Bay Area refineries (Unocal, Shell and Chevron) under MG Associates/Mahesh Gupta P.E. banner from year 1986 through 1994. MGA was setup again in year 2014 to provide Electrical Engineering/Design, Energy Management and construction support services in several industry sectors: data centers, semi-conductor fab plants, clean rooms, maintenance/safety projects, electrical/mechanical facilities (new and upgrades), research laboratories, etc.
Mahesh has provided his experience and expertise as owners’ engineer, and as sub-consultant to other engineering/construction companies in Bay Area since 1986 in design/project management, cost estimating, contract bidding/analysis, construction management, procurement, City permitting, developing electrical maintenance and safety programs per NFPA70E and IEEE1584, testing and commissioning.
MGA can provide invaluable electrical engineering/design consulting on any project RENOVA participates on.

Ben Foster, President of Fosterra® LLC, is a champion for green energy and clean transportation in the commercial, government, education, and utility sectors. Ben has worked with organizations across the US and globally to find solutions that reduce both their environmental impact and operating costs.

Edgar is an individual with a broad array of experience who combines creative thinking, logistics knowledge, and customer service expertise. From being an Arts major alumnus to Stanford University Director of Library Facilities to currently running his own business, Edgar is capable of addressing clients’ relocation/moving needs with impeccable accuracy and efficient scheduling.

Business, Sales & Marketing Advisor
After obtaining his Electrical Engineering B.S. degree in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Murilo joined Hewlett-Packard (HP), where he held several sales management positions in Brazil. In 1992, Murilo accepted an offer from HP to move to the USA as a Sales Development Manager and help Brazil with negotiations on special deals with computer manufacturers in the US. Later, Murilo became responsible for implementing the HP Hi-End Laser Printers Marketing Program in Latin America.
Murilo decided to leave HP after 20+ years to become the Director of Latin America Sales, based in California at NetManage Software. Years later, Murilo joined KANA Software where he expanded his business and management skills leading the start-up company to do business in Latin America’s market and open an office in São Paulo, Brazil. Using his experience in sales and marketing, Murilo joined SAP-Brazil as a Readiness Manager to develop a comprehensive and successful Sales Training Program for Latin American Sales teams.
Since 2008, Murilo holds a Real Estate license and has been active in the Bay Area residential Real Estate arena. In 2015, Murilo has joined friends from Rio de Janeiro to become an independent consultant in finding software solutions for Brazilian companies as well as finding American companies with a desire to invest in Brazil.
Murilo’s extensive experience and acumen in business, management, sales, marketing, and in the real estate industry makes him an invaluable advisor to the RENOVA team of consultants in providing counsel in business and administrative matters for the company.
